I've seen some that have started to oxidise and look a bit yellow? I guess it depends in the bike, this was on a white Daytona 675.

As for removing it, I'm guessing people just tried to peel it off?

I think your supposed to warm it, a hairdryer works well, then peel it very slowly and carefully against itself, not 90degrees, but pulling it gently back on itself, 180degrees.

As for my lid, it was a pain to do, but my last Arai a Viper GT was £400 and had 3 chips on the crown, typically it was chunks of black that came off to expose white. So for £25, I'd defo do it again on there.

Dan thats bull, if its professionally applied it is nearly invisible ( certainly up to 2ft away) and does not become tatty looking.

I had Ventureshield on my Ducati 1098R for 2.5years without any problems at all.

Get it fitted professionally and you will be extremelly impressed.

Also saved one of my headlights on the 1098R from getting chipped/smashed. Top product.

Hi all...... new to the forum..... i have had Venture shield fitted to 3 bikes and 5 helmets worth its weight in gold.... last bikes had stones chips all over it ....ventura shield all clear hopefully, best way to take it off it with a hair dryer and just taking your time, done it before and never had any paint come off or any marks left

The best thing to use is a mixture of water and johnson shampoo and it will move about a bit better

Only goes yellow if you use certain creme polishes on it, ie autoglym super resin polish etc , the guy who fitted mine told me never use cream polish as it turns it yellow. Just like around the cap on a tin of said creme Polish. Gotta use a wax by maguires

I fitted the venture shield when the bike was new, best thing I did, it certainly does what it says on the tin! When you install the nose cone use the Hair dryer to keep the film very warm and don't be afraid to use it whilst squeggying too, just be careful though because too much heat and the film will overstretched and will not fit properly?
