Stevecbr......... Ken aka Kpone is our lord and master moderator who very kindly gave us a wonderful breakfast and chat on his patio ( or his wife did!) Their hospitality was so generous they could quite easily be mistaken for Northeners if it wasn't for their heavy Debon accent. An annual pilgrimage it seems was borne from an overnight trip by four Princes to pay homage to O Be One Kponee who accepted them graciously...........just don't tread on the grass as you leave though!!
Whoever ends up top and tailing with Si, be warned. He can now live his dream... http://www.play.com/stores/ToxicFox/listing/920346104
I'm concerned that the recent.......downturn in the local weather, has caused some water ingress around the chimney breast in the loft. Can't quite tell if it's the flashing or the pointing, without much closer inspection, but I'm afraid if I go up to look I might end up in Oz... If only, there was somebody skilled and renowned in this field, who was passing by some time in the future, when the weather has calmed down somewhat......and who owed me big time for some accidentally malicious property damaged they caused, while, I might add, I was helping them out... If only... PS. Barney told me to post this.
Rich, are you joining us on this? And Ken, i'm sure we can all throw our hands in and botch, i mean fix, your watter ingress problems. Giv is a builder too.
I'm supposed to be, yes. It'll depend on mine and the missus' holiday though. Is it OK if I book as and when I know?
I'll have a look for you Ken, but you'll have to sort a ladder out as I don't have any fixing points on the blade
For certain people I have a little test I use for water tightness .On the way down I will use the bucket in the van for relief. And then once on the roof I would poor said liquid around the lead flashing and then ask you to sit in the loft to locate any seepage .I think this would be the only way to assist you in your time of need .I am of course available on call and await your valued custom ...
