    Hmmmmm, I get back in the country on the 4th for two weeks.......

    A couple of questions spring to mind though:
    1. Is it worth taxing the bike for two weeks?
    2. Is it worth the work of bringing it out hibernation to put it back again?
    3. Will the wife let me disappear on the bike for a few days when she hasn't seen me for 3 months and won't be seeing me for another 3 months?
    4. Would she end my life if I just buggered off and did it anyway?

    For a route I'd recommend hitting Warrington and then the A49 all the way down to Hereford and then the A40 to Gloucester or the A446 to Bristol.

    Good point. Split up and Helter skelter through the shire is probably the safest bet. Some of you stand the chance of getting past the ring wraiths then.
