    Fine to be honest.

They are a little stiff when inserting the plate by hand initially but when it's bolted to the stand itself along with a good squirt of WD40 on the pins it's fine.

This is where careful initial setup and adjustment pay dividends I spose.

Matt I'll buy that it makes moving the bike round easier but I've never noticed any deformation in the tyre after a couple of months. You should also consider if taking the weight of the bike might cause damage to your suspension given that it's fully extended for prolonged periods of time. Surely the shock was designed to have some compression.

Looks an awesome bit of kit mate.

Jay's constand does looks more level, eg the front wheel is off the ground as much as the rear.

    Can this be sorted?

No damage will be done to the shocks and if anything it will alleviate pressure on the springs which will be a good thing .

as i said,i can see the benefits for me and will be looking into 1.

that said,i can see the benefit of it beoing off the ground, but not because it's off the ground.tyres wont deform over a couple of months hibernation, however, the benefits to the suspension would be a good thing, but again this wouldn;'t be reason enough for me to buy one,it wont be "that" beneficial.

but,the ability to remove front and rear ends of a bike without having axle/peg stands in the way,and the ability to remove the front end without a under fork/yoke stand getting in the way would be very beneficial to me,also being able to spin it on the spot.

jase,i've looked at yours, just checking it's not the same as this 1 :)

I had a Constands lift for the Ducati and when I got the blade I joined this forum with the sole purpose of buying an adaptor plate from callumw. Works really well and lifts to about 8" of clearance. I had to drill a hole in my carbon frame covers to continue using it when fitting them. Easily holds the bikes weight with me sitting on it. image.jpg

Concrete will draw the silica/oil out of the tyres when it gets cold.

Come off the 'Pins' under load?

    Not a chance!

It would tip over before that happened and that could only happen if you locked the castors and then manually forced it over with the strength that most peeps outside Ironman wouldn't posses!

Had mine for a while now, set up is a bit fiddly but then its a fantastic lift!
You can even ride into garage, lift it, spin it round or move it around

so before i sell all my other stands to buy one of these, does it lift the bike as high as the constands one in Martins pics, is it safe and secure, no chance of slippage etc.. ?

Of any bits I ve purchased over the last couple of years......That shite was the worst.....with the company being the worst for service......

That's taking nothing away from the Constands, Bursig, and this modified Warrior (I must say it looks good)................What I find odd is that those tossers from Envy said it was THEIR unique design.......... I suppose they was right THEIRS WAS SHITE !!

Anyhow off to see my therapist now so toodle pip !! :D

    Afternoon everyone,

If you all would like me to get a group price together for a few orders then please let me know how many and I shall see what I can do.
I cannot promise that I can do any better than what I did for Sinewave but it is worth me asking the question.

The price that I gave above to Skippy79 is including postage to Belgium so that's why it was at £122.22 instead of £113.65. I can do free postage to anywhere within the UK.

    Many thanks

    Andy
