James at Racebikebitz sponsored myself and My mate Gaz last year, im hoping he can do the same this year, i ran the waterless coolant on 3 trackdays and 2 dyno runs, in conjunction with the samco hosed it made a massive difference.
Arthur, could you stop to post pictures please ! I haven't done it yet and you make everybody crazy ! Haaaaaaaaaaa
Remal best bet for a GB is ask James at RBBs it would be rude of me to jump on his game all for profit... It's there site that got me aware of the product I did talk to Evans UK but did not wish to cut in on the deal.. I am happy to supply it to my customers at my workshop but over the net is another matter, do tell him I said to call and your the man on the case for the forum members.. All I will say is I am VERY happy with the product..
Not probs Art, I can get it trade at morses in Bristol who restore classic cars but was wondering what you a doing your end. If you can ok me the details I can give RBBs a bell and see hat they may be ago to do for members. Thinking if 20 people buy th can get x off etc..... I may hijack this thread or start another re asking who is interested ins group deal n this coolant Cheers again
848, CBR, TDM, YZ, WR all done.... And now look, even if they are a little late.. Latest News - Honda MX
Don't worry mate we never doubted you. Even without the Honda MX team going for the stuff we'd trust your judgment. Well I would'nt anyway. (just so expensive )
Ha, yeah the price....try not to look at the price.... Tell you what though mate it's not every day that something comes along and changes one of the fundamental things in or on an engine, it's been fascinating converting the bikes Ive done, watching them run to working temp with no filler cap on...
Can you pm me with details of how to get the bike prepped to change over to this coolant and also what sort of price to expect to pay for the prep and coolant mate. Last thing I want to do is buy this stuff and mess it up. Only reason I haven't changed already is that I wasn't sure I was keeping the bike as long as I now am.
Thanks for some great posts on this Arthur. As I don't get my Blade until next week, I have no idea fluid quantities etc. looking at your pictures, I guess you used 2 cans of prep and one large can of coolant. Is that right? I'm SO sold on this stuff.
Looks good stuff this seen as I'll be keeping my bike forever lol I'm keen to keep internal corrosion down. Anyone have any idea how much corrosion would of occurred on a 2011 blade with 4k on? I'd be up for a group buy too.
Suggestion: Arthur is doing the changes for all of us ! He is the most experience mechanic in the UK and we all don't want to mess up our beloved bikes, do we ? You can call it "group decision" so he won't say "no" !
Ha Ha..... I would help you if you wanted... experienced you say, no mate I'm still learning Oggy it's around 3.2l mate.. to change to Evans you need to drain the system, fill with prep and bleed, run to temp, let cool and drain (save the prep you can reuse it), then fill with Evans run to temp and be sure system is bleed as before, let cool and check levels and that's it. Most Jap motors tend to be good in regards to corrosion Ducati on the other hand...well....old escort springs to mind!
Ok £90+ for a car 5 gallons is a lot but once you have got it it can be reused and last for a very long time? In the end worth it 100%
Couldn't wait for the sun to come out, so done it this week and like always, I found something else to be done. - R & G Radiator Guard ( black ) - Dunlop Qualifier - Evens Waterless Engine Coolant - Garmin Power cable Had a nice ride today. Not as cold as I thought ( heated grips ) and streets were dry.
Good man, another in the waterless club.... All my bikes and now a few of my customers all run Evans... we love it! My 2012 TDM runs like a dream on the stuff... No pressure.... I like it!
