looking at your tyres on your bikes your not fast enough to warm corsa's up, a sports tourer would suit u better Nigel
i'v been as quick on pilot powers as on racetec rr and corsa on the road, u find 90% of corsa and recetec owners would be better on a sports tourer tyre, prob inc me,
Interesting, and mirrors the view of novices who believe that tyremarkings/edge wear equate with corner speed and rider ability. Accomplished riders, of course, know that corner speed is acquired through various factors which are not evidenced by 'chicken strips' but generated by rider positioning on the bike to gain maximum sped with minimum lean.
It depends on how you ride and where. Sporty track based tyres need to be worked hard for them to grip. Great for spirited riding on A roads on sunny days but not for bumbling about. Look at the race schools and many are on normal road tyres, not SuperCorsa. Something like the Rosso III or Power RS are good road tyres.
Also on your suspension set up if your are getting graining or tear it could be that your not a throttle Hero but your set up is all wrong I had that on a 848 I had tyres looked like I was a BSB champion but in reality I was going nowhere .....we had a track day once at goodwood in our group was a chap that had tyres not over to the edge etc but his riding style was so effective while I was focusing on lean he was gone.....turned out he was a Trimph test rider! .....anyway who cares doesn't matter if you have massive chicken strips enjoy you bike buy what tyres make YOU feel confident.....not the local cafe hero....
what a load of bollocks, the faster u go the more angle u need, yeah hanging off helps but u still have tilt the thing Accomplished rider, lol, u have a badge to prove it, I can see it now, the 30mile loop de loop one
