Put some WD40 in the tank lock after having a bit of a moment at the petrol station.
    Working fine now

Did the steering and tail locks whilst I had the can out at it + lubed the chain with some Wurth as it was overdue and beginning to bind a wee bit

Tried to fit stomp grip and royally fooked it up. I prepped the surface, had the hair dryer at hand then got to work. One side stretched too far on one side, the other side miss aligned. Problem is with stomp grip you have to get it right first time or that's it. Tried taking it off and starting again but it looked wank so had to take the lot off and in the bin it went. £40 down the pan. Gutted

From what I've been told (Dealer did mine) you don't need to remove the fairings to fit the drilled R&G ones either.

Just loosen enough fixings so that the fairing can be 'pricked' on the inside to enable a mark to be left to enable drilling.

Top Tip is use a Cone Cutter and not a Hole Saw for a neater finish! :D

I used a hole saw as you wont see the hole anyway.
I loosened mine but the ram air popped out so was a royal
pain getting it put back in.
