Fitted a gipro gear indicator and went for wee blast in the sun. Bit of cleaning now as still loads of salt on roads.

    Fitted some cheeky Ohlins stickers.

But mainly took the bike out for a 60 mile blast to test my last 2 camcorders. I've come to the conclusion that camcorders that have Image Stabilisers are no good as the vibration shakes them to bits. So I'm now settled on an old Panasonic MPEG2 camcorder for the Scotland trip.

Me neither I've only just bought the bike so previous owner probably was a bit lazy! Changed the oil filter too but the one I put on was a little smaller than the one I took off but it was the right one according to halfords?? Is that bad?

I took mine off its Abba stand, started it up just to make sure everything is ok and went and filled the tank up as I've got an early start tomorrow to head over to Thruxton for the BSB!!

Sorted out the track bike, got it working, was the side stand switch that was still attached that was cutting power at 5k in gear. Very odd as it wouldn't cut out like it would when fitted, anyway, we removed everything and Dave v closed the loop on the circuit so all good.

Done few other little jobs on it so well chuffed.

Also re arranged the garage and got the bike ramp going.... Once the ensuite is out of the garage and in the bathroom will have a decent little set up for fiddling with the bikes!

A very productive day in all. Well pleased.

Cheers again Dave for the hand and also Arthur for sparing his time and wisdom - yet again!

Doesn't sound great, I stick to Honda parts for simple things like that. Either that or a high end aftermarket part. Trust halfords about as far as I can throw them.

Check the below link out, might give you an idea to make sure its right

Hoping to get out today to scrub in the tyres, but rained all morning, cleared up around 3pm…Aaaaaarrggghhh!

So, finished off putting the stainless bolts on the forks, rear and fixings, topped up the oil and cleaned the chain.
