Not a lot. Looked at it for the first time since back end of last 'summer'. Plugged optimate in and argued with the alarm for half hour. Gonna take that bastard alarm apart when time permits.
Took bike to Grantham to get suspension tweaked. Sat quietly and wondered who the other forum members were Oh yeah I also won an off road day in the Honda draw
Having decided to go to Squires in Sherburn, I got the bike covered in a decent amount of squashed flies! Spotted a nice repsol there at around 1pm.
I also went to Grantham Honda I got my suspension sorted I did meet up with some forum members but only spoted them because of the 100RR.co.uk sticker (any body got any ) had a great ride with the sun finally coming out to play
Got the bike out of the garage, connected the battery up, hit the starter & you guessed it. Just enough to turn her over a couple of times, but not enough to start New battery me thinks.
Sorted my wobbly seat after seeing SimonRR's seat yesterday. Turned out that my cross bar under the seat was incorrectly fitted on top of the subframe, raising the middle of the seat, making it pivot in the middle and generally look shite! All sorted now and ready for when i get it retrimmed and padded next week, hopefully ready for the Scotland trip. No numb bum for me :-D
Got my RR6 out for its first ride of the year. Great blast out east and then North to Newark to the old girls for Sunday dinner. 2 hours later i did the same but in reverse. I 'kin love this bike so much. Ache like a bastard now though, getting old, gone are the days of doing 500 miles in a day!
I was like that in feb/march when i went out before the snow came, but a couple of months on i'm good for it. Its probably more about fitness than age. Get yourself out as much as you can and you'll be up to speed in no time.
I rode it....!! just got a mini camera for my forthcoming trackday so wanted to see if I could fit it on the bike somewhere. Managed to tape the bracket onto the clocks so the camera faced through the screen. Went for a half hour bimble to check out the footage.... For a cheap camera the footage is ok, good enough for the trackday anyway!
Yesterday rather than today but..... Got my micron exhaust fitted, sounds awesome but not heard anything to compare as yet Installed the tail tidy, thanks to MikeRR for that And got my motodynamic brake light fitted too Then went for a blast and took a photo for bsb comp, will get some more photos up once I've done the front indicators
Fitted an integrated taillight , thanks broos3 and modded my r&g tailtidy, thanks callumw , now my little plate nearly looks too big
looking tidy, love how the guards let you guys away with the small plates and the discs that have accidentally swung to cover the plate, you know the ones I am on about lol
