Good to see you today for a bit of a natter in the sunshine Alex, sorry I was a bit late, the A1 south at its best again. But, even better to get that garlic out of my car! Oh, and mate, that beard, it’s got to go fella it doesn’t do you any justice (said in a non gay man huggy way)
But the beard means that I'm a smooth urban sophisticate, David! Or that I'm too lazy to shave. I think it might be the latter. Fair enough. Can you drop me round a razor? Definitely the latter.
Give the front of the furry engine a tidy up can't believe a 700 mile bike 6 months old look scruffy .mint now before a good spray with acf 50 tommrrow Don't look at yours lol
Now, from someone probably old enough to be your dad, let me enlighten you. I grow a goatee now and again when the lack of sleep and stress over loads my nervous system and I get cold sores. Ling, god bless her, says I look like a bit of a twat. So, given that was a full moth eaten woolly mammoth jobbie you sported today I would say by default that means you look like a complete twat. Don't shot the messenger, I am just saying….
Whoa! A complete twat may be harsh David. I think the big man needs to post a picture of his fungus for us all to judge before we can make such sweeping statements
You're 6 years older than me! So less of the condescension, grandad! The facial hair accentuates my 'cruel yet sensuous mouth'. That quote is mine so I'm not sure it carries much weight... But if it makes you feel any better I agree you'd look an utter Rodney with a goatee. Nothing personal. Everyone does.
I was out on my Blade at the weekend in Wales. There was still some snow banked up on the road side which was melting with the water running across the road. When I got home the backend of the bike was covered in crap and salt, just about where your camera is mounted. Then I remembered from your clip, bright sunshine and flipflops and then noticed your location...ah well some have it good!!
Put Scorpion Stealth carbon can and Evotech tail tidy on my rr7. Starting to get ready for next weekend.
As per the seat retrim thread, I had my seat retrimed and padded out for the long journeys by Tophills on eBay for £70 (dropped off & collected myself).
Fitted front mudguard complete with fender extender and fired my rr7 up for the first time with my new scorpion stealth can. First time ive had her started up since october.sweet
Fitted my Ohlins rear shock , also just fitted a 15 t front sprocket to my 06 blade . Then went for a test blast to Loomies. Rear shock is excellent so much better than standard much smoother an planted ride , but dont like 15 T front sprocket an will be fitting the 16 T back on .
