The Settle Fox carefully selects his victims then without any fuss "dispatches "them only to hunt down more with laser guided precision .;)

Took bike in for new boots. Have put on Bridgestone Pro Hypersport 55 profile. I wanted a bit more tread for the wet roads than were on the Pirelli BSB's. The Pirellis stuck like glue but I got less than 2k out of them, which is not bad but a tad expensive.

Of course it rained for most of the 40 mile journey home so had to be more than a little careful. Have to say though, so far so good, they seem to grip nicely on the flat even in the wet and as I got 5 miles from home the roads dried a bit. Looking forward to try them in the dry once the sides are scrubbed.

Recieved my radiator guard and my waterproof connectors today.
Really happy with the guard, 45 quid from ebay from a company called trackday tyres.

I'm very happy with it. Had a choice of 4 different colours of powder coated mesh too. Very sturdy and feels well made too.

How easy was it fitting the radiator guard mate ?
Did you have to remove the fairings ?
I have one sitting at the dealers waiting to be fitted, along with my R&G tail tidy.
But if it was easy enough I was just going to get him to post me them and do them myself.
Also have one for the wife's bike (600RR).
Also want the downpipe guard as well, but that will come later.

Mines not an R&G one I got it from here. Honda CBR 1000 RR 08 - 11 Fireblade Radiator Grille | eBay (Didnt want to pay R&G for something that I can get cheaper from another supplier)

But once you work out where to mount the cable ties it doesnt take long at all. I didnt have to remove any fairings to do it.

I am going to make my own downpipe guard, again because R&G charge a fortune for such a small piece.

    Hope that helps.

    Pete
