Yup mate ... all went well . The caliper fits without touching the wheel and the pads line up with the disc nicely . Sorted
Yeah, I had a moment of madness last night and took the bike to the new Kawasaki launch at Bridge Garage. Fair do's, there were loads of other idiots dressed in leather looking bloody frozen.
Looks really nice Nutty. You should get some little hand warmers and shove them in your pockets or your gloves, they make the world of difference xx
Good going, odd it did not with the RR7 as the mounts are the same (galfer disc)? Anyway glad it works for you and your defo hardcore bike lover coz dammmm it was cold in my workshop today with the heater on let alone outside...! Out of interest what disc is that Armstrong 220???
On the site it says the cast caliper needs modifying but not the machined one on the 08 onwards . As for the disc .. it is 220 but not sure where I bought it . Old age I recon .. normally I can remember stuff like that off the top of my head .
Cheers Benn ... I'm proper chuffed with it . But I am keen to know if it also saved some weight So its gonna come off before I fit the brake pipe to put it on the scales . If I don't it will haunt me
I stripped the fairings off the bike to give it a good clean and acf50 treatment before the bike goes back together on Tuesday with it's new sparkling White wheels which are just getting new bearings and the tyres refitted. I wanted some dymags but until the money fairy visits me again a fresh powder coat of the OE wheels was the best option Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
2009 bazzaz unit, tc and qs etc with switch 600 pounds..... ouch!!!!!!!!! had to hover over pay button! most expensive item have bought for bike! nice kit, instructions very vage but gets you there, handy if you been under the tank cover before
I fitted the Bazzaz FI a couple of weeks ago .. What a bloody fiddle !! lol All 8 injectors . Not fun at all . I wasn't impressed with the base maps available on the website . Just bloody 1 ! So when you getting the bike mapped ?? Got some pics and a fitting guide for us ?
Bit boring and late as was Saturday before the snow hit. Cleaned the daily ready for another week of salt And fitted the cover to the 10 I bought from the show
I thought it was quite easy to be honest! ive fitted power commanders and that before.... this is my 3rd new shape blade always done pair mods etc etc so been in there few times! The injectors alot easier once pair valves removed gives you way more room, i took the tank off also, though i find that a bugger, get angry with the little plastic clips, while holding tank up with your head etc trying to get it undone not a good idea lucky dont break some wires it tells you to splice into, i was abit like hmm is that the 1, thats where the manual very vage The quickshifter main wiring needs to be longer and less stiff as i can only have the bazzaz unit 1 way round. making a hole in the plastic battery tray very handy to get wires through to rear seat unit... out cam the wire cutters and screwdriver and hammer, worked a treat I should of done some pics, wiring all nicely done, but i will be rerouting again and making sure the quickshifter sensor wire away from heat! ill do a pic of the nice little 5min bracket i made for the trim switch and wiring i followed the clutch cable route the traction control sounds badass when cutting in... set it all high nail it in 1st in town and people look like your a crazied loon.lol thats makes you forget the cost I will be getting the light at some point aswell
