No not really, I took the front end off to fit the HiD kit, tucked the ballasts up into the headlight moulding, but it made sense to do the brake lines while everything was off as access was a lot easier, plus lessens the chance of brake fluid on paintwork with the scary results that brings. Learnt that the hard way with my Suzuki, greasy hand holding slippery full brake fluid bottle = bottle dropped on tank and front end covered in paint stripper....not repeating that mistake twice...:-O
From this ............ To this............. yep you guessed it MOT day, took whole rear end off too change the rear light and but the tail tidy on and indicators ohhh and don't forget the dinner tray number plate! Oh well all sorted for another year!
Removed rear pegs and info stickers from swing ar. Fitted tail tidy and wheel rim stickers. gave it a full detail too
Fitted the 2012 balance free shock that I got from And7rp2. Old vs New Now to the bit that really needs addressing. Honda in they're wisdom decide that no grease is needed at the shock link. I beg to differ. Guys if you haven't already done this, then I suggest that you strip clean and grease this. Here's why Anyway once that was done I fitted the new shock, and going by how it bounces along with the front, I don't think it is that far away from being set for me. Nice 1 Andy. I'll take it a spin at some point and have a little twirl of the nobs to see how it reacts. The finished product
