Got the rest of the week off, so at 8:30 am this morning I was out fitting my latest bolt-on-bling. Purchased at the MCN Bike Show Harris Fuel Filler Cap: Harris Short Brake Lever: Harris Short Clutch Lever:
I went to but a set of Pazzo's. Compared them to these & the Harris kit won hands down. Got the levers and the fuel filler cap for less than a pair of Pazzo flip ups, so a good day all round really.
Aint even seen mine since i picked it up on 10th dec. In my mates garage cos i'm still waiting to build my little 6" concrete ramp to get into the shed. Anyway, mate rang other day to say ' ya might wanna come clean ya bike mate, looking a bit furry'. So sunday morning, or thereabouts, cos i'm on the piss saturday (watching giants stuff warrington, yea right) i'll see my babe and give her a right good seeing to. Was hoping to get out for an hour but forecast is too cold. Will pop some before and after pics up anyway. Actually i lied. Have been out, nearly got spat off a few times. Wonder why i forgot that?
I broke a promise to my bike today. I promised it a run out but Jeanette announced the community skip was in the village square, so I spent all morning walking 26 years of accumulated loft ballast up the hill. That's my cardio vas sorted for a month. How could I have acquired so many monitors? It pissed down within seconds of finishing so I've let Bill down and can't look him in the headlight.
Vino your Harris stuff looks great, it's really good quality as well. Blackdevil, Your Rizoma bar ends look great..
Today I stripped all the pannels, Drained the oil, changed the oil filter, put new oil in then it started raining. So I have a half nekid bike in the garage needing a clean and a fault findind in the spedo sensor/hesd area. You know what i will be doing tomorrow.
I know better than to wheelie up the road past Jeanette doing her impression of a Russian peasant woman with a set of trucks in one hand and a wheelbarrow in the other. I don't know how to cook for a start plus all the neighbours already think I'm the Antichrist. You've seen the wicker man.
Vino, Loving your fuel cap mate... I had my 8k service done today, and new boots fitted (needed for a track day next week) So couldn't wait for the groupbuy, your in for a treat boys, the sportsmarts are bloody excellent.. Then scrubbed them in and went for a lovely ride via camber with a pal and Dave v! Bike looks boggin now, but it'll have to wait till the morning for a clean up... Still yet to fit the following recent purchases : Rg rad guard Pazzo stubbies Gear indicator Aliminium resevior Head light protectors Poor effort or what!
Lol- as we jumped on the bikes Jimbo stated "Remember I have new boots, if you guy's want tear off no worries". I have NEVER seen anyone ride on a set of new rubber like Jimbo, impressive stuff mate!
Ha ha... Credit to the tyres dude, they are great from the off! And just got better and better....I'm really impressed with them.
LoL, read this half asleep & was thinking new boots? Tart! Then realised it was tyres! I laughed at my stupidity! Love SportSmarts, they were a revelation when I put them on. Hate scrubbing in new tyres (although they seem to scrub in quicker than normal). Legend Jimbo Sent from my BlackBerry 9780 using Tapatalk
