Been for good blasts to Delamere stopped off for Drink at hatchmere lake, looks overgrown since I was last time I was there fishing. Then to the motorcycle super store this shop is the biggest I've ever been in. Then home an cleaned the machine. Photos to follow/d/13/09/30/5epaguva.jpg[/IMG]
Also killed a lot of flies today, best to get them before they disappear in the cold weather. Haven't ridden for three weeks and it showed today, took a while to get into the rhythm, but got there in the end. Misjudged the apex on a couple of bends but got away with it thanks to the ever forgiving handling of the blade.
Almost had to get the bike re-mot'd as I misplaced the certificate :-( Luckily my mot guy managed to pull a copy from the vosa database, (see the new computerised system is good for something), which saved time and money I then went and transferred my private reg from my old bike to the blade.. I love giving the dvla money for 5 minute job on a computer !!! I then came home and installed even more locks on the garage door as the local bike stealing fraternity have started taking an unhealthy interest now they know I have the blade
Brought it in from the cold, gave it a quick clean and set about putting that Powerbronze rear hugger on.The bracket is big, heavy and well overkill to hold a hugger in place. Put it on and yes you've guessed it,It sits pissed.Took it all off and tried bending that thick bracket to sit straight. No chance. Feck it I'll make my own lighter bracket.30 minutes later bracket in place ,holes drilled Hey presto A STRAIGHT HUGGER!!! I'm glad I bought this S/Hand cos it would have gone straight back to Powerbronze otherwise.
Tidied the rear end,got rid of r+g tail tidy and replaced with evotech and minier blinkers looks so much better
^^^dats purdy^^^ Took it out, cleaned the garage, put it back :roll eyes: Whats the weather like tomorrow?
Weather pants tomoz but in middle of moving home Be glad when bed in as slept on the floor last night with the Mrs ( ooeeerr ) surrounded by candles for light, hardly got any sleep but least i was awake ( ish ) to watch motogp qualifying
Finally managed to get the pillion seat off after it being jammed in place after fitting the renntec rack for my euro trip. Having faffed with it for ages previously I was surprised that it just lifted off at the first attempt this time. Still can't work out what was wrong with the original fitting of the rack to cause the problem though.
Well as the other half sometimes reads these posts all I will say is that I got all three for the RRP of one
