What were you running previous? Yeah, from the of they are great, and seemed rock solid in damp salty conditions, can't wait to get them going on a hot dry day!! My super corsas were great in the dry but not in the wet, which always made me doubt them in the dry if that makes any sense... 2cts before that which were awesome in every condition, but been knocking around a while which is why I wanted to try something else, so hoping these sportsmarts are the same all round ability with but only better. So far so good!!
Had 2CT's on before that. They were solid & never had an issue with them, but when I was in Germany last year, 3 guy's had slung on the Dunlops and were raving about them. I also noticed that the SportSmarts were getting so much heat in them in the rain, they were dry after a few minutes of stopping. Slung a set on in September scrubbed them in & love them. Also noticed that the blade tips in faster & turns better with the SportSmarts.
Really? At best mine view me as some kind of assistant who keeps Jeanette distracted while they don't need to lay their tedious neediness across her shoulders. Until a computer needs fixing, a fence repairing, concrete laying, etc. etc. Then of course I'm the man.
Ditto! The source of financial indulgence for their youngest Daughter's latest whims. It's a well documented fact that I do not even qualify for consideration as the favourite son-in-law (I'm 1 of 2). 'Golden Rob' (who incidentally is a top chap) has held top spot for the last 6 years, and even gets extra roast potatos at Sunday lunch!!! I know. However, for random questions on WiFi at 10pm on a Sunday, helping Joice from Church install a printer (and then provide free lifetime technical support), or for 5am airport runs, I'm the man.
I was once told I was the favourite son in law in front of the other one which gives you an idea of the level of sensitivity we're dealing with here. But enough. We're hijacking the thread and I can feel the rant mist descending.
First day of hols Weather not too bad so spent a few hours changing the chain & sprockets I bought at Xmas Before [/IMG] After [/IMG]
I took delivery of some Gilles VXR(?) Rearsets, Chain Adjusters and some Vario Bars.............................................................. And paid for a new set of a set of BST's finest And I have still not told the Mrs that I have even got the bike
The bike is in a mates garage at the moment, I am carrying out all the Mods there before I tell her what I am up to. I have managed top sell my ZXR750 last weekend, which she does not know about either! to raise the cash for the wheels and I will then sell my CB1000R when the weather gets a bit better and the bike market improves. I can then turn up with a bargain blade with all the extras on and a reciept for six grand and explain what a bargain I have got as it has three grands worth of goodies on it. Well thats the plan.............................................
Its always nice to know that a good relationship is built on mutual trust lol Very sneaky, but also very impressive... so jealous on the BST's very nice
you think thats bad! pal of mine's mrs banned him from having a bike.... he subsequently took up "mountain biking" and every sunday sets off for a ride.... he rides no further than his mates garage where he duly puts on his leathers and takes out his spanking zx10r!! lol... comes home, gets changed, rolls in mud, then cycles home to tell the mrs what a great days exercise has had in the woods! genius....
