Managed to fit the rear goodridge hose and my HRC rear brake line hose which has been lying around for ages just the fronts to do
Finally after making a few purchases at the bike show I've found some time to fit them; Gilles chain adjusters, well pleased with these and what a POP to adjust the chain. No more kicking the wheel back because of over adjustment, just use the allan key to wind it back in. Pyramid carbon chain guard, was a bit suspect of their products to begin with but this fitted a treat.
Fitted the front hoses took a while to bleed thanks to colinBR for the information about bleeding the nipple at the master cylinder would have been there forever
Fitted the Ohlins yesterday. Cleaned and oiled the chain today and finally put her fancy clothes back on after being naked for more than a week. Hopefully get a sunny day in the next few so I can try the new shock out and the de-cat exhaust
These arrived in the post today so although it's been sunny I did some tinkering instead The black thing is a fenda extenda, stops all the crud going into the rad. I have one on the 600 and it's certainly doing its job so no hesitation on the Blade getting one.
Fitted replacement bits and bobs to VCR rear sets today after receiving them from Performance Parts. Can't praise them enough for their help with parts and advice for both the Gilles and the Akra!
Took the cover off and checked I had some petrol ready for tomorrows "Northern Breakfast Meeting" Getting Giddy already......... Now will anyone talk to me????
Bought a new Honda Chain and Sprocket set from fleabay for £135 delivered. Bit if a bargain I thought.
Rode it ...in the brief spell of sunshine this morning...not far and not for long....but OH-BOY that felt good... The Ohlins is bang on and the de-cat exhaust sounds great and coupled to the K&N filters...the bike was really crisp and had a lot more power delivery through the mid range Now it's under the blankets till more decent weather arrives....
I added a little more R&G and gave her a good G3 'ing to! Really chuffed with this new polish G3 Professional Resin Superwax Happy Days!
That looks awesome... Where did you get it? Think I'm in the past on the autoglym. Looks a top deep shine.. Very nice mat
I bought it from Halfords after Kevin at Rochdale Honda recommended it. I'm really chuffed with the eas at which it goes on and polishes off without smudges. I've been using Meguir's for years but this is great stuff.
