I hope this is as easy as every one says as I've a set of Stao Street Hooks on my bench awaiting my attention. Any Tips Squire?
Ive got the asv levers on finally! I changed the red roller adjusters to gold to match the wheels. Is ready to fit the braided hoses now.
Got some new boots, PR4's. Will fit them over the weekend and hopefully get some winter riding time on the Blade.
True, but I've half a dozen scrubs to get through, so I may as well switch what's on the bike between summer and winter. That way I'll get my money's worth out of the Michelin's
My bet is you leave them on and sell the scrubs time will tell.... But dude, give them a few miles yeah
Might sell the Dunlop GP Pro's as they're quite hard in the cold, that's what caught me out before, but I got a few Racetecs and a Supercorsa which will be good when it warms up. Like you say, gonna take it steady for a few miles as I need to get my head back in to gear too. It's been almost 3 months since I last rode and it would be rough justice if the I got spat off again after buying the right tyres for the weather
Ray, if I can take the pegs off anyone can. Follow 'paulbusdriver' instructions, and you wont go wrong
jap_sti_3 i done this only a few weeks ago wasn't as bad as I thought rear tail section was a bit scary as I thought it was going to break My only tip is when I got my street hooks they came with some spacers check they actually fit As I fitted them and it made the bolts too long and the head of the bolts hit the plastic tray there isn't enough Clarence so I didn't fit the spacers everything went back together easier than I expected And I think the result speaks for itself Good luck
Fitted a set of Ti Front disc bolts today ! Have change all the bolts to Ti or Ti race spec now . Looking at a K Tech fork upgrade next , and Galespeed wheels .
Got her out for a wash and polish, having fitted the carbon frame and swingarm covers. Then went for a ride and got caught in snow on the way home !! Now she needs another wash !
Took off the lower fairings from the bike today and removed the 'Honda' decals from them. Cleaned off the panels and the rear hugger which I had removed a while ago. Going to take them to a place near Norwich in the next week and have them re-painted in gloss black. I have been wanting to do this for ages but just haven't got round to it before. The endless pursuit of turning the bike all black continues, as mad as it sounds, I would like to get the rear Ohlins shock done in black as well.
