Finally got round to fitting some stuff I got for Christmas

Ti rear disc bolts and pad pin

    Front Ti pad pins

Grips that I was really unsure about but think I like them now their on the bike

Quick release petrol cap I picked up from the bay this week

Couldn't leave the 929 feeling unloved, so finished fitting some replacement stainless caliper bolts.

Hi , What carbon frame guards did you go for ?

My frame has been rubbed away by the previous owner and im in two minds whether to have it painted at £145 quid or fit a set of guards , I've heard good reports on the GB-Moto ones.

    Cheers

Finally fitted the R & G engine covers that have been gathering dust and re-fitted front mudguard that I took off before the new year to fit the "fenda-extenda"
Also fitted the R & G stickers that came with the engine covers...by mistake !!

Trial fitted one to see how it might look...and it took up squatters rights....so I made it permanent

Actually they don't look too bad :)

Finished fettling a mountain bike I've bought second hand to start peddling to work to shed a few pounds and get bike fit for summer :D

Had it on the bike for around 2 years now Ray, 99% sure it's from here

The Telferizer Custom Motorcycle RAM mounts for GPS Systems

At the time I struggled to find one that fitted the bike- if you call them and they are really helpful, that will be them. Not as cheap as some, but top service.

At last I managed to steal an hour today on the old girl.Roads were dry and it wasn't cold just a little blustery but not blowing hard enough to unsettle the ride.I moved the gilles rear sets in a higher position to see if it was better whilst moving around on the bike. Also fitted my Midland xtc280 camera to see how that compares to a gopro.Well I was pleased with it staying where it was mounted despite a couple of high speed runs, corners and braking hard.Footage was very clear, noise from the engine and brakes was too loud though.Probably mount it on my lid me thinks.Overall I'm impressed with my xmas prezzie. The Gilles rear sets may be put up for sale. The original hangers will be put back on.

Hi 'SW'. Was this for the rear brake-light? Can you elaborate please?

    Nick.

    .

It's 1 inch (25mm) Ray. I think it mentions it somewhere down the page. I bought it for my SatNav but then I ditched the waterproof case and mounted my GoPro on it and my SatNav is 'suckered' on that flat part of the tank just in front of the filler-cap. It's never shown any sign of becoming unstuck.

Thats spot on cheers Nick. I've found the mount on its own so that will do me fine. I have one but its not the most secure set up I've had so need to sort it out.

This is the mount I put together from two others I had.

& this is how I have her set up at the minute.

Thanks for the info once again. Ray
