Yes I'm afraid so Lol, I couldn't work out one vital bit but I can't tell you which bit as you will all take the piss
Calipers go at the back Customer did bring me a KX80 once, took me a while to spot what was odd............then I saw the caliper was on the front of the wheel and not at the back
Lol I was just checking it was ok too knock the spindle bit through with a screwdriver and hammer and that I had removed all I should of before breaking something, I can always get things apart its the putting back togeather I struggle with as you well know Arthur
See you have something a little less dangerous to get around on while the bikes out of action Hope you wear knee pads and helmet with that scooter !! Saftey first. First aid last
All welded back up without the "moggy" Now re-fitted and lambda blank fitted and old wiring removed with lambda. All fits lovely
There you go Gilesy my friend... No more rear pegs ! Looks soo much better !! Need one of them HRC rear reservoir tube things now !!
What did you do to your bike today??? Nothing, absolutely sweet FA... as my forks are STILL with JHS for repair... not having a pop at them as they did say 2 weeks minimum (its now nearly 3 weeks), but frustrating nonetheless... especially as all the convertible drivers at work have arrived with the roofs down
Nothing to the bike except ride it! Bought a dark visor for new XR1100 helmet from Tweeks (with forum discount)
My convertible is on axle stands after failing MOT If that makes you feel any better! But what an excuse to use the bike
Ordered some Pair plate blanks (as per Gilesy) so while bike is half stripped I decided to remove the Pair covers .......................... aaaaarrrrgggghhhhhhhh ....... 2 of the 4 6mm bolts sheared off because of excess glue being used, and I was careful. If I ever meet the Japanese tw@t that fitted them I'll have to do time So off with the cam cover and had to drill out, ended up taking them up to 8mm and I'll modify the covers when they arrive, not amused. The cam cover is a tricky bugger, off and back on, but managed in the end, so all afternoon and 2 poxy Pair covers removed is the sum total gained.
Well yes, your misery and impending financial expenditure has cheered me up a tad...... losers together!
Speedo Healer fitted, calibrated, fitted new 15 front ...............now lets see if she'll rag arse!!
Got the bike out the garage, cleaned it checked oil, lubed chain, checked tyre pressures All ready for tomorrow's ride
Speedo turned over to 19,000 miles after today's ride I know that's nothing compared to some of you lot on here but I'm getting there Every time I ride the blade it gets better and better
