Today I had a bash at repairing a leak from the clutch cover, I've left the engine dry to give the smeg a good chance to set so hopefully all sealed when I give it some fresh oil tomorrow (fingers crossed).

    Yeah that's the one mate.

Taking it back is a bit drastic for a free to fix oil leak though lol.

Today was oil change day ! Should be a simple, relaxing kinda job, but no... The feckin lower fairing bolts didn't want to play ball and the stupid rubber nut thingy just wanted to spin, and its too short to really get a good grip on it with anything :/

Must have been a good hour of trying various pliers and grips, grazed knuckles, walking away cursing, walking back trying again, wd40, tea, fags and so on before i gave up !

Lucky it was just the front lower off side bolt that was stuck, so with all the others out on the right side i could pull the fairing away enough to get the oil filter changed ! Mission !! Has anyone got any tricks to getting them bolts out ??

I went for Castrol Power 1 Racing 10/30, although the guy in honda shop where i picked the filter up from said i should use a semi synthetic !?

Also i fitted some dark tint headlight protectors ! Probably not the best safety option but does look meaner :) !!

Change shock absorber for a different one and discovered why people uhm an err about putting different years of shock on different year bike, but importantly with some violence, crying and begging it fit, also bled front brake and discovered new problem, bike isnt idling at 11,000 RPM and the screw to adjust idle wont turn :S

Added the power supply i took from my repsol onto my new blade and installed the ram mount into the stem.
Also took out every single fairing bolt out and added ally grease to them so they don't cause the aggro blackness had a few posts up :)
I remember the grief from last time! :)

Zero gravity corsa screen, New hel lines on Saturday and then remove the pads and all the winter **** that totally jammed the pads up so that they would move at all, I have decided that she's to sexy a bike to ride in the winter with all the crud on the road. Looks like I'm going to have to replace the pistons with all the pitting and damage to them, oh and a white blue and red power bronze seat fitted as well.
