The sticker is black background with white text. I have white, orange, black and yellow vinyl at the mo! If anyone wants any stickers then PM me with your colours for background and text and ill make them up I can do custom stuff aswell as I made them myself just anyway
ordered a screen, spare chinese brake leavers and 20ltr fuel can for the R6 track bike. The motul 660 (i think thats right) brake fluid turned up today so hopefully no more spongy brakes.
ordered a new mirror off fleaBay after this happened Sunday! Guess the dead beasties must have kept the mirror glass intact!
Good honest write up. Was the Chris from HRT you mentioned Chris Rossiter, if so he is an absolute star. I did a better riding day with HRT (who are closing business this year BTW) and was struggling with Charlies and so spoke to Chris about it, he said not to worry and he would take me round. True to his word he jumped on his 400 during the final free circuit and signalled me to follow him, I was on the blade but had to push to keep up with him whilst he showed me the correct line.
Spent the day at Blyton with the British Superbike School. When they said I had BSB rider Dan Linfoot as an instructor a phrase similar to Clucking Bell went through my mind, along with images of my crumpled bike burning in the off field with my parts of lifeless corpse hanging from trees in Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorkshire and Cumbria. As it turned out as well as being a bloody fast rider, Dan is also a bloody good instructor; down to earth; and likeable*. God that sounds like a fan club entry but he is nice bloke who loves bikes. He helped me loads with my riding and I felt like I gained a lot from the day, who knows I may just achieve what I want to from days I have booked this year. I had a chat with him at Lunchtime and as well as instructing at BSBS and Ron Haslam he also does Trackday tuition, so if you want some help with your riding get in contact with him. *In other words if you want a prima donna arrogant professional rider who wants to show off and only talk about himself the Dan is not your man.
I drove to Swindon and put my track bike in a crate. It is now on its way to sunny Portimao. I will be joining it on Friday for 3 days of bike heaven!
Finished headlight mod and put mount on for GoPro...... just to the side of the headlight but may not leave it there as concerned how much the camera will pull this panel at high speed!
Just back from a race weekend and bike was flawless but the track was a slippy hole lol. Friend crashed twice doh. I have alot of PM's about stickers and ill get back to you all shortly once I get unpacked and sorted out here.
Fitted the front mudguard And seat unit after spraying them white to match the rest of the bike, just waiting for decals now.
Ordered a scrub rear to last me Silverstone track day and the Donnington Proctice day before I switch to a new set of Michelin Power Cups for the race. Fiber glass kit has been bought and I'll get onto repairing the R6 fairing and prepping the bike for racing.
Fitted some polished alloy Harris paddock stand bobbins, simple and inexpensive but better than those black plastic R&G type things
Today I had Goodridge Black on Black Braided Hoses fitted front & back. Walk round video to follow next week ;-)
