Fitted Diamond rearsets today. Will go out for a blip tomorrow and fit brake switch when I get back. (P.S Cheers rosier1uk)
Cut off that stupidly short and badly placed peg on the kickstand that I can never catch when wearing my Sidi boots to put the stand down when sat on the bike,, Made another peg, slightly longer with a different shape end and welded it on in a different position on the stand that, for me, is far more ergonomic..
Fitted a pattern clutch cable as I was wondering if the cable had stretched or if the clutch is wearing. Quickly removed it. Would be OK for an emergency but was not close enough to the OE one, which surprised me as I previously used the same brand on my NC30 and it was fine. Will buy an OE when I have something else to order from my dealer or Lings.
Rode it to Grantham. Letched at the race reps, had a hot dog and a coffee. Rode home, picked the missus up, rode up to Gainsborough to get some fuel. Now sat having a McCoffee before a slow bimble home. The sun is out and the world is good
Fitted baffle to my SC project can. drilled one of the rivets out and tapped a 6mm thread through the can. think I will turn the bolt around so the nut is on the inside.
Rode it....got lost......rode it a bit more..............got even more lost and started to panic as the fuel light came on!...............rode a bit more until I found a petrol station, Christ that was close. Eventually stopped in Munford for a cuppa, for what I got charged I would of expected a bacon butty too!. Saw a black 06/7 heading towards Thetford (I think?.......well I was lost)
Top tip mate, that my dad gave me when I started driving. 'You cannot get lost, you are on a small island and they all speak the same language' Stood me good ever since, and makes it a greater adventure if you end up somewhere you have never been before
Be prepared to smile I have lost my voice since fitting mine, must have been screaming like a girl through the gears
Fitted my stainless steel exhaust with no cat and ape manual cam chain tensioner, Will test it tomorrow as might upset the neighbors at this time of night lol
If you really want to treat them and haven't already Racebolt.co.uk do titanium pad sliders, banjos and bleed valves I got some for mine they look awesome
Yesterday I was mainly going around in circles at Oulton Park on the No Limits Track day & had a brilliant time!
Not what I did but what the wife did. Took a tumble on it. Thankfully she is ok. Bike has scraped fairing, scraped engine slider, scraped clutch lever, scraped bar end, scraped bobbin.
