Took off OEM rear line and MC and dry fitted HEL line (well rear half) ready for new MC now on Monday, think I'll cut the HEL rubbers off once it's all offered up if it fits ok and just go with the one p clip.

Do I torque up banjos to Honda's recommended torque?

Think I'm gonna keep it mate, use for track if I get a second blade next year.

    Cheers

Did look at the brembo MC but the hole centres are different to the Nissin MC so would have needed to make a bracket or to have drilled the rearset to mount so went for the Nissin.

Have a look on here https://www.trevorpopemotorcycles.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=2_153 above MC is standard on some KTM models and you can get it cheaper than £106 too I think... Still need to buy the push rod though as well.

That'll be a carbon copy if the chain guard I made.

Wonder how it will fit over the weld, and not spin round??

Fitted the new rear MC today and new exhaust ready for MOT tomorrow.

Didn't get off to too good a start when I took the top off, so had to bell Cox Honda and ask them to send me a new diaphragm..(this is how I found it, not my handy work :) )

Next off was to offer it up using the standard MC holes on the VCR rearsets, fitted but didn't like the look of the push rod

    Knocked up a quick bracket

Some more pics, new clevis joint

Hate bleeding brakes, it's no where near as firm as I'd like but not sure if diaphragm is playing a part or it's me, stops wheel and holds it solid hopefully will pass MOT, I'll get local motorcyle dealer to bleed rear and front see what they say once new diaphragm arrives.

Just waiting for Chris to finish off the swingarm carbon protector so will not be using the VCR heel plate want to show off MC :)

Ordered exhaust infill panel from Austin Racing wanted Leo but as previously said now discontinued (sorry Austin Racing)

Today I brought my daughter home after 6 weeks in Manchester Children's Hospital! I also lifted the cover on the Blade for the first time in 8 long weeks and smiled.

So happy to have my family all home under one roof once again.
