Oil and filter change and fitted those cheap trak tech levers from m and p, look and feel the same as the more expensive ones.
Thanks Bats, Still not sure, my link pipe looks different to yours and the is no way I could slide it on as I have the big bulbous section, only way was to undo the bolt and then it wont go back in as the pipe is to big. Been to busy today to have another go at, will update, thanks so far guys.
The threaded insert that the screw goes into on the gubilee clip could be on the wrong way. Mine was, if you make sure that the end that doesn't have a recess before the thread starts is closest to the screw that will give you a couple of more threads so you can loosen it and slide it round. It is a bit fiddly but trust me it works
Cheers dudes. Got a sheet of the meshed metal from B&Q, went for something not too stiff but stiff enough, if that makes sense? On the sides of the rad is a recess. Measured and cut the mesh with a dremal to fit inside this, length wise I cut it a little long. Bent the mental into place, slotting it into the sides. With the mesh in place trimmed the length leaving a little extra and then using a small pin hammer worked the mesh over the lips at the top and bottom. From start to finish around 5 hours, lol think the longest part was removing and fitting the fairings!!! I've got HID's fitted, re fitting the wiring and ballast is a real pain in the arse.
Bought my Blade back for a tenner, so took it out in the sunshine todat and made sure it was OK at full throttle. It's fine thanks
Laughed my fornicating arse off. In fact, as I read it a little bit of ice cream I was eating may have come out of my nose.
