It should be for the price I watched their Youtube video and that convinced me! No problem mate. They didn't touch my garage, but a neighbour had his broken into and they stole some tools.
I fitted a tracker to my bike from ebay . They cost only £60 . I know they can be easily pulled off but its just another possibilty to help recover the bike. Chris
GPS 303 from rewire bought from Temprocks comes with £5 voucher that you need to top up but it does track your rides and is fully setup so it just fit and thats it you access the website and you can see your bike and any rides you have done in google maps . Chris
I'm not sure I like a reporting tracker that uploads to someone elses website... Just my paranoia I guess. But what guarantee do you have that plod won't turn up enquiring about that 50 in a 40 zone yesterday that they got from perusing the data... Not that I'm insane enough to think its impossible to grab a person. But I refuse to make it easy for them... And how easy is it to fit someone up? Feed it false data, and say Ooh! Look what they done! Mind you if it's possible to do that it introduces a level of doubt to any hand on the shoulder... H
If the device is not calibrated by an approved calibration company the evidence is worth nothing. All these on board camera fans submit them selves to much worse as speed can be estimated by passing markers like signs etc, easy to block out the speedo by means of video editing software but not so easy to block out land marks. Speed = distance / time.
Went for a ride. Roads started a bit damp but dried up nicely and it wasn't too cold. Wish I could say that the roads were nice but the farmers seemed to have had a "how much mud can I leave on the road" competition. One stretch was that bad that the only clear strips where from where the cars had cleared them.
I drove to Norwich for work this weekend to find the same shit spread all over the roads, glad a I decided to drive and not ride it, but still felt like stopping to give the tractor drivers some words of advice, but decided that they probably didn't speak very good english and carried on my way. Will travel the same route back home on Sunday night. Hopefully the roads will be fairly clean as I don't plan on driving like miss daisy to get home at early doors. Also lost the bidding on a Track Blade by around £100 today, gutted as it would have made an ideal 2nd Blade for me. The hunt continues...
