Oh the joys of ebay sniping Went for £56 +£6 p&p in the end having stayed at £36 until about 5 mins from end. Don't know if it helps but my max bid was just under £65.
Fitted my King Carbon hugger today. An easy job that only took a few minutes. Just a little concerned about the tiny gap between hugger and tyre (I have a 200 rear tyre fitted). I tried a few washers on the fixing hole furthest away from the shock but that makes the hugger sit lopsided. Been sat here thinking about it for a while and I'm going to have it off again tomorrow, make some spacers for all 3 holes and refit it, while adjusting the rear shock a little so the ABS unit doesn't smash it the first time I go over a bump! Looks the business though, King Carbon items are well made. I'm happy with the quality.
The Blades is having a change of clothes over xmas..........well sort of . Anyhow....spent a few hours in the mancave and she now sits on stands with the wheels removed, disc's off along with all the bearings out ready for Powdercoating.......WHITE!!!. I,m just so fed up having to get the polish out after every ride to keep a good gleem on the polished rims. I know I know some of you guys will say "WHITE!! you must be mad" but I,ve had white rims before so I kinda know what I,m letting myself in for.
Finally got round to fitting the Datatool heated grips. One of the few times that I have use for hairspray these days.
