Ha Ha Ha............ It doesn't have a stretch facility...... LOL Thanks for link, i'll be getting my seat sorted before our run to Doble's, or my arse will be dead after a couple of hours. Jason did fine, better safe than sorry and on roads that he probably didn't know. Just keep going out on group rides and ride at your own pace. Worst mistake is trying to keep up with someone who's faster than you, that's when mistakes happen. A good group of riders will always regroup every now and again.
Pulled both front calipers off, split calipers cleaned pistons and seals put back together bled system and test rode. All in perfect condition after clean up, well impressed for RR5. All in just 2 hours, happy days. Tomorrow clutch fluid change.
Well wasn't my bike.. but still 3hrs work! Took a 2006 blade to bits, fitted red clutch braided line, took out the airbox, air intake and removed the PAIR valve.. couple of blanking plates of Ebay. Also fitted an HM Plus QS to the bike while I had all that crap out of the way. Also sorted a leaky banjo at the front M/C. Finally, a set of Gillies rear sets.. another job done! Finally got some time for my own bike, so I fitted new R&G bungs at the rear (titanium colour but made of Aluminium) and then re-fitted my tail tidy after taking it off for the Fast Bikes Photo shoot. Took the opportunity to tidy up some of the wiring etc..
Got the bike back from BSD a couple of days ago, once again they have done a great job. Just had the following done : STM Slipper clutch, Cordona QS, Brembo Clutch M/C and reservoir, Brembo underslung caliper, Braketech floating rear disk, Sato racing lever guards, Rizoma rear reservoir, Driven grips and some Helibars. Slipper clutch is awesome, so much easier to keep momentum. Cordona QS again awesome, changes are seemless. Brembo Clutch M/C, heavier than stock but suits my clumsy paws. Brembo rear caliper and Braketech floating rear disk, back brake more effective, not that I use it much. Lever Guards - Bling mainly but may come in handy. Driven grips - very nice, good feel and easy to hold. Helibars - Well, I was stressing over these but I am exceptionally pleased with them. I rode for 80 minutes today and no wrist ache, usually they hurt after a very short time. Higher riding position is comfortable and the wider bars seem to make counter steering so easy. Only two small scruples, my aftermarket mirrors are quite short and I am now feeling like I used to on my Ducatis, ie mirrors are difficult to use, so may change them. The second one is the wind blast, my double bubble may have to be changed as the wind blast is right into my face. Might fit my higher Corsa screen to push it over the top or go back to stock which might bring it down to my chest. Still easy to tuck in although tucking elbows in requires a bit more effort, but still easy. Many will know my feelings on rider aids, but I have to say the slipper and QS are really nice and make it easier to ride faster and smoother........thank God it would be too expensive to have traction control.
Fitted my yoshi and loaded the map from Mr OCD. Fecking awesome, the growl from the Yoshi was so load and mean it was turning heads in the next county!. Left the heat shield off as I quite like the look of the exposed s pipe. .... also fitted the baffle
Just fitted the break guard after loosing the other one at oulton (cheers jase ) Then fitted the new clothes..... Ready for donny.... Back to stealth baby
