Cheers for the reply Jim If I'm honest, I don't want the bike too loud as I normally sneak out when my little one goes to bed and could do without the ear ache from the Mrs. Can you recommend something which is mediocre in the sound department, which also looks good? The Honda approved Akra? Or is that likely to be on par with a flap free standard pipe....
Fitted the Brembo RCS clutch and brake master cylinders and the Harris GP adjustable clip ons.. now the man cave is operational..
Yoshi R77 with the baffle in is pretty much like the standard exhaust with the flapper mod carried out until the bike is on the throttle then it sounds ace.
I like the look of the r77 and loved the one I had on my zx6r (without baffle). Is it a case of just a slip on or would I need the Pc and tune etc?
Mines just fine with the baffle fitted with no remap. Runs nice and no issues. Better with the baffle in fact.
Try Performance Parts as they are the sole importer for Yoshimura. They are helpful too. If they can get one they will. http://www.performanceparts-ltd.com/
Remove the track fairings and clean the bike after a thoroughly wet Cadwell (god I love how easy it is to pop track fairings off) Remove front forks and chuck then in the car ready to take to Parkitt for an upgrade .
@si1000repsol you don't fancy selling the Kyle block off plates do you? Send me a PM and let me know fella. cheers Lyn
Took the standard seat over to Viking in Sevenoaks for a recover and gel pad. I shall post up the verdict when I get it back.
My taylormade exhaust and sequential rear light arrived today. Cant wait till Tuesday when the actual bike arrives!! This has been the longest 2 weeks of my life!!!
Fitted my Brembo calipers, new lines and banjo bolts. Made and fitted a reservoir bracket. Filled and bled in 5 mins; solid. Started fitting track bodywork.
