Ordered one of these to get rid of the horibly placed rear res on my rr5 eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices
Si not yet as 1) Its running in and 2) so many buyers are booked in! However I will mate and SOOOON, its one nice bike and SOOOO light! 25Kg lighter than an S1000RR that was also in today for a mo..
I wish, should have posted it in the other bike section so sorry to all the Honda fans but could not help myself.. Will post some pics in the 1199 thread..
ooooooo Art you lucky bugger, Gis a go mister. I am lusting after one of those, not sure I am going to be able to help myself if it turns out as good as it looks and the press reports. Would very interest to here what you think based on real world experience. I love blades but…….50th birthday present…..
Took it to a petrol station to fill it, not top it up (bastard wanker panic buyers, causing bloody havoc), so that I'm ready to run out first thing tomorrow. And David, I'm feeling good about it.
Mr C! There's dirt on that tidy! Mike gave me stick for a dirty bike just this very afternoon, so it's your turn in the barrel, sailor.
Unfortunately Ken, there stone chips , all part of running the std hugger instead of the huge HRC version, it has just been washed so no time in the brigg for me
its beyond me, saves cash I guess, if you look at the rear shock its taking a battering as well, but what can you do, will keep a look out for a replacement on flea bay should I ever want to sell the bike (not likely) but beyond that you dont really notice it unless you stick a camera up there
Annoyingly there was only one noticeable mark on my fairing when I got it, now it's got about half a dozen around the nose.
Same on my lower fairing now ! only it stands out like a sore thumb against the white, it cant stay perfect forever, but it would be nice if it would The bike has 2600 miles now, and Id rather ride it and get a few marks than have a garage queen
Ragged it to work & back (condensing a 1 hour commute in to 24 minutes each way) Treated it to a full tank of Super Unleaded (at 1.49 a litre)
£1.49 a litre? You were lucky. When I picked up t'super unleaded pump, it were readin' £1.50. And if ya tell that to a youngster... ...they won't believe you.
Keep us updated on this if you would mate. I have a Brembo 20cc on mine but am looking for an alternative. When i did it all the G craft and monkey bike res's were silly money. Mine looks like this:
