Yeah I'm regularily swapping the Optimate between bikes, but looking for an excuse to get the bike out as I've not ridden in what seems like ages. I recognise Marshalls Yard though. Didn't know they had bike spaces
fitted carbon lower bought pvm 10 wheels (got special price , brand new for 875) , matris forks cartridge , samco hoses , another speedo healer lot to do in the next week
Went to Spraybay at Immingham yesterday to collect my spare set of plastics which were re-sprayed in Honda TT Legends colours. I knew they had a good reputation but I am totally gobsmacked at the quality of their work. Alan has been a star right from the start and was always keen to give his advice and has a great personality. I am a fussy old git` but the finish is awesome. Fitted some heat shielding to the lower fairings and then took them to the local bike garage for fitting tomorrow. Looking forward to getting them on the bike, love my black fairings but they can have a well earned rest for a while and I can ride around impersonating Mr Mc Guiness.......if only I could ride like him.
If it's road fairings you've just had sprayed, get them protected with venture shield so you can keep it looking mint for longer.
Finished putting the engine in the R6 race bike after a little bit of work from a mate of a few guys on the forum (Liam form Leyland). I need to sort the wiring out next and service the suspension. The bike fired up first time and is ready for the dyno next week. (anyone know anywhere good near Swindon).
Not done on the Blade yet, but Datatag'd the family push bikes today and bought a UV torch to check progress as they're invisible under normal light. Need to decide which kit for the Blade now. His Hers
