    What sort of bike lift is that?

    Ahh, you're using the jack to keep the front up. And there was me thinking it's new style of hydraulic lift.

    It's a hydraulic ABBA superbike stand which has everything you need to lift the whole bike in the air.

    There is an adjustable pad / mount built into front of it that goes under downpipes... You wind it up so that it stays level when you lift the bike...

    Picked up these shiny beauties from the powder coaters today. Managed to fit the valves without any scratches but that's the easy bit. Now for the tyres and bearings uploadfromtaptalk1452096957111.jpg uploadfromtaptalk1452096972136.jpg

    The little 06 plate R6 went on the Dyno at GP Performance in Oxford today. When I bought it the Dyno readout was 113 Bhp, today after a top end refresh and port and flow its putting out 121 at the rear wheel and 132 at the crank. I have to thank Liam for the good work for not a lot of money (a good friend of many of the North West guys).

    An extra 8 horses to drag my chunky arse around the track. Apparently 1 kg of weight is approximate to 1 Bhp loss so I need to lose about another 8 kg :(

    Grant at Gp performance knows his stuff when it comes to mapping a bike, did you get forces discount there? They give some discount usually

    Looks like a few tyre fitters could do with an education from you dude.. My back wheel got mullered trying to remove a nasty old dunlop qualifier..

    I was there for about 3 hours and only got charged for an hour but he had issues with the Dyno and one with my bike; both which we fixed and then had a good natter. He's a guy who has a genuine passion for bikes and it shows in his work.

    He used to work years ago for motorcycle city in Reading and was awarded top mechanic in uk or Europe by Honda a few times!

    Yep top guy and like you say very passionate about his work, much like Arthur! Shame there aren't more guys around like them

    Swapped the hugger for a Powerbronze, fitted some 50mm frame plugs and fit a carbon exhaust sleeve
