I only paid £150 second hand for this mate (well, free as it's a birthday present :D). Dusty, but great condition. Amazing lol, it's a pleasure to work on the bike when it's raised up!

I've been waiting for 1 to pop up on the evil bay at the right price and somewhere close enough for me to go pick it up. It's on my shopping list for this year.

Fitted a 1/6th turn HRC throttle tube.
After reading lots about the tube housing & cables also being needed, I can confirm that the tube on its own is a straight swap on the 2010 model; no modifications needed.
Its an easy job but a little time consuming having to remove the air box to put enough slack into the cables.

    :)

Power pure tyres finally arrived and fitted to the rims today but I'm not putting the wheels back on yet as i'm waiting for shiny new chain and sprockets, new duel compound renthal grips and warmish dry weather to give those hard to reach areas and brake callipers a good clean whilst the wheels are off. I might touch up some of the stone chips on the wheels also.

Fitted my Ventura Brackets and stuck the new Mistral Bag on just to get a visual. Compared to my Gixer fittings the Blade's brackets are much neater and quicker to fit, and the Mistral bag albeit a tad smaller is a big improvement on the Aero Spada 11. And that dear readers is about as technical as I get ;)

Had Ventura luggage for about 8 years now, and it's the best I've used, so easy to get on and off, doesn't move around at all, and very well made. This is the new Ventura Mistral Bag, which as I said is a bit smaller, 47 ltrs against 52 I believe, but it is semi-rigid (best I can do these days ) and the pockets are far easier to access.
