Today - Black brake and clutch levers! (vicma race levers) All went well until I started the bike pulled the clutch in, popped it into first gear and it went dead, every time no matter how much I adjusted the clutch out... I was like WTF did I do wrong, surely I can't have broken it that much?! Then I remembered the side stand was down... I was like...
Installed Arrow GP exhaust. Needed to adjust rear set. Right side was a non event. Stripped a hex bolt on the left side. Decided to drill it out and drilled a 2mm hole thru no worries. Thought to make hole bigger and somehow broke the 4mm bit in the hole. Tried to push out the bit from the rear and broke the 2mm bit. After cursing and perhaps some crying, me mom came over to see what the fuss was about. Recommended I jam a flat head screwdriver in as it should be loose wth all the heat and vibration. I now owe me mom a nice dinner outing. Still short a few bolts so didn't get to test ride the new exhaust..
Had my bike mapped at PCR last week. What a difference. SO much smoother, and the flat spot at 7k is no more
If only the mudguard went down the back of the tyre to the bottom of the fairing; we wouldn't end up with mud stripes up the radiator WW2 people had it right 180 degree mud guards I mean they aren't called mud guards for nothing. Currently they are for aesthetics only and have no actual value as far as mud is concerned. (protecting your upside down forks aside)
Finally done some work to the Blade....... been meaning to for ages New chain, sprockets and adjuster..........
dragged it out of the garage and locked it up outside the flat ready for a 4am start down to the Alps for 10 days
Well, u didn't wanna ask bro! Haha My babe has a fever and the temp keeps on fluctuating up and down as long as the bike is running! So I thought it could be the heat sensor. I tested the thermostate and it was working fine so I replaced the ECT sensor (heat sensor) and flushed the coolant and changed the oil. I started the bike and the B still doing the same thing! I don't know what to do or test next other than take it to the shop which I really don't wanna do! If someone suggest anything that would help I'll definitely do it in the weekend otherwise i'll take it to the shop!
Went for the scorpion rp1 gp can ,very happy with the sound ,just need the plate to hide the pipe underneath
Also have this can, indeed it does make a great noise. Made an infill panel for mine, not perfect but it'll do until I can source something proper. Don't know if Scorpion do a panel for this, if you find one let me know.
