Was lucky I guess mate. Few chips on rear above brake light where it hit my van on way down and flat spot on wing mirror plastic where it landed on a tumble dryer. Really not sure how it wasn't massively worse and if I'd have let go there were 2 kids bikes to land on

I've been working on an R6 that I bought damaged a few months back. It's going to be this years track toy So far I've removed the Datatool alarm, fitted new coolant hoses, removed stock headers and fitted earlier ones as they have no cat, changed fork seals and oil, fitted a PC5, stripped and cleaned calipers with new pads fitted, new disc bolts, Gilles rear sets, Hel brake lines, Renthal chain and sprockets, cleaned and sprayed up the rad.
Not tried it yet! Will probably fire it up tomorrow but warn the neighbors first im guessing it's going to be more obnoxious than the AR as the Pipes quite a lot shorter than the AR, I'm more than happy with the overall look now it's on with the panel think it's a grower but will decide when the bike comes out of hibernation March April time rock on....
Cheers Max.... it's growing on me slowly, definitely lighter than the AR and more Moto GP inspired... Yeh couldn't resist the hugger for a ridiculous price brand new from a dealer... might transfer back once the 60 profile tyre has worn out and revert back to a 55... got some more plans so watch this space
got my new front fairing piece.. far left wrong colour, center is my crackered upper fairing right is the new one with larger 93 and tinted windscreen now on to the install
Fitted new pyramid seat cowl and gave her a clean, fitted hel braided break hoses, and new exhaust. Bring on the spring!!
Had it serviced ....went back to the uk for a week freezing everyday....salt everywhere ....got flu not back till April gutted just sat on it and pretended...
Fitted some sexy infill panels. Fiddly job as the thread on the carbon mount is almost none existent. Happy with the results otherwise.
Washed, oil and filter changed, street hooks fitted and pcv installed. Just need to get it mapped. If anyone could recommend a dyno tune center in Scotland it would be appreciated. .
