Right, like the Vertu Honda ones? Was simply wondering if the owner had painted the gold wheels or purchased it like that. Quite seriously, I'm still not too sure about gold wheels on the SPs, even though they key in with the gold stripe on fairing. Gold wheels on black bikes - no argument; on others, I sort of wonder if they're a bit 'over the top' - even for me.:)

Yeah, good wheels were painted at the same time the bike was done. All hand painted too, not stickered! ( well apart from the small black plastic centre panel that couldn’t be painted)
Blue bolts, banjo bolts and bleed, all titanium, and yeah, rediculously expensive!

What WILL I do to my bike today?

Clean and ride. About to start now. Have to do some serious rear wheel cleaning after chain was over-lubricated during service:(

I guess it's a fair trade off - a bit of time cleaning or fork out for new chain and sprockets!

Ah, must be back in time for BSB series:).

Stripped down the standard exhaust and gave it a clean up and treated it to some heat proof matt black exhaust paint, was looking a bit rusty and shitty. Finally polished the heat shield.

Reason for this? It's got to go back on the bike in place of the Racefit for trackdays! So may as well look pretty in doing so :)

Done well Paul! I've got one of those horrid things in my shed - just in case!

Not as clean as yours though. I've often wondered about exhaust rejuvenation.

I imagine it as the female version of getting ready for a night out: Deep cleanse, foundation, rouge, and then the final touches with a dab of Helena Rubenstein. I guess you've done all that, except swapped the 'Helena' for a few dabs of Autosol!

Ah, the multi-tasking gems one learns from co-habitation:D:D.

Yes mate, have the rear with new pads and ti bolts also but will put them on once the fronts bed in.
Not a bad disc for the money to be honest, seem to have a nice bite paired with the same brand pads.

Carbon strap and heel plate safely tucked away. No idea where this hrc kit has ended up! Definately had it in the garage as I lined it up on the bike which triggered me thinking of the possibility of shortening the tube. Where it went from there I have no idea lol.

Calipers next on the shopping list. Picked up a Brembo RCS and Roboticus sent me some HEL lines to go back on. Not sure whether to go for m4 again or the newer gp4rs.

Haha can’t go wrong with the pilot road 4’s Nigel they have kept me upright in torrential rain hailstorms and snow, great tyre.
