First MoT passed this morning, she had to wear her giant No. plate complete with reflector.
Advisory on front tyre, near wear bars.
It's not the most high tech MoT testing station...check out the brake testing equipment
Wheel alignment is performed using the aluminium angle irons on the floor...o_O
    Old skool.

Wow, Hitch. It's a wonder they let you photograph that. Entrepreneurs everywhere will be clambering to replicate such a high-tech facility!!

Sir Richard Branson might jump the queue to form Virigin MoTs. Obviously no chance of f*cking anything up in there!:eek:

When i had my suspension set up the guy used a similar technique to align the wheels. Apparently the most accurate way of doing it. Sure i seen a video at ktech of them doing it too!

We had a chat about the noise as well and he confirmed that there is no legal limit; he did ask me if I had a baffle

The next customer poked his head in and we were all chewing the fat, he mentioned his mate had been given that compulsory ticket to get an MoT carried out due to noisy exhaust! ...touch wood not had any interest from plod (yet).

Wow! You'll be gettin' that first service soon. I hope it won't clash with your Christmas holidays:D:D.

As for me, well, I've just been tinkering 'round the back roads, grabbing coffees here and there, and whadaya know - 300 miles. Think I'd best follow your example, DF, and show some restraint!;)

With all that use yours is only worth 20 quid now. On the upside it'll be cheaper to insure. :D

Might shorten it a little more too...

Will this have any problems come MOT time?

Just got home from a day out and had to log on to see what all you guys, and gal, have been saying about me:(

Well, if that's how quick a bike devalues, I might as well just spray it matte black to make it worth 10 quid.:)

So, 4 members revel in Lozzy's humour? As a pensioner, one cannot overdo right-wrist actions; there are far more important causes for it. Of course I refer to washing, hoovering, etc. Seriously though, whilst these machines don't necessarily need a lot of 'running in', I have been a bit tame with it, but mixed with some high rev and high speed action. I would be interested to learn what others are getting from their 2017-18 bikes whether 'normal' or SP.

Interestingly, Honda's 'Supersport' brochure quotes the SP as 41.2 mpg - exactly the same as the CBR125R. WTF? But even more interesting, it quotes no 'power' 'torque' nor 'consumption' figures for the SP2. I believe Honda is being coy when it openly states in media forms that the SP2 produces the same power as the SP. Logic defies that. Bigger valves, different combustion chamber, different pistons, etc.

And finally, I have to answer to DF and his jesting comment. Simple: HRCs don't coast!:D:D

I don’t understand why they would even state mpg figures on and sp2? Or any sports bike come to that, It’s a weapon!
What rev range have the dealers told you not to exceed Nigel?
How have you found it in the few miles you have covered?
