Looks good, Paul. Do you reckon that will cut your db's, or are you sticking with the OEM pipe for the track?

I'm really getting an itchy wallet for a Racefit:cool:

There is no way on earth that grill will cut DB's of a Racefit

Absolutely no dB killing properties whatsoever Nigel !! Purely for aesthetics this mod. Not even going to bother with the baffle anymore, will be sticking the standard exhaust back on for trackdays!

Which bike you looking at changing to a racefit for? :)

Ok so I've fitted the diffuser........and it looks like they've sent me the wrong one. I think this one is for a growler 1, Mines a growler 2. Stuck out about 10mm too far and should be flush on this exhaust. Already spoke to 'John' at Racefit who I have to say is really helpful and will do anything for you and he's sorting it out for me, just need to send it back!

The 2011 - replace the Yoshi. Judging by the look of yours, it will suit well. Pic from Racefit's website of 2011 HRC with 'Growler'. Mmm, I'm getting excited . . .

True, but this is replacing nearly like for like. I guess I could offset cost by selling Yoshi. I'll sleep on it . . . for one night only:D

    That’s frustrating.
John is the fella who sorted my end cap out for free and posted it back to me for free.
They seem to be a class little outfit up there

Yeah I don't know any other manufacturer of exhausts that go that extra mile, plus you can send it back to them and they'll strip it down and repack it when needed. Make mods and adapt to suit your preferences etc.......can't recommend them enough! And they're British like Cal Crutchlow!!!

I'm very patriotic about my exhausts!!:D:D

Should I be worried that I've not bought one for either of my bikes?

I don’t think so. I’ve read some go at 2k miles some at 20k+. I believe they had a batch with a weak spring and that’s the cause of the failure but don’t hold me to that. When you look at the parts diagram there is a new part number, that replaces the original suggesting there could be some truth in that.
For the record mine currently sits at 7.5k miles.

Bit hit & miss I think with how much mileage you get out of them before needing a new one. I remember Marion off here needing a couple with v little mileage in on her bikes!
I got 43k out of this one before I replaced it but it was f#cked as the mechanic described it...couldn't hear it rattling because of my v loud zorst durrr

Skinny fingers would be better. Old sausage fingers here might struggle a bit.
    Keeps me entertained I suppose.

I gather some members on here have employed the missus (with their ladylike fingers) under instruction to assist!
