It's ok the kit comes with a screen and I'm not going for the pan European look! Try and be patient......it's probably going to take me a few weekends to fit!!!

MV has an interesting system of 'twist locks'. I'm sure there is a proper name for them, but I don't know it. I have been wondering if these could be incorporated into the Honda fairings. Of course it means having the counterpart to turn into rather than the existing screw thread.
You mean Dzus, that’s not the issue although when one type of screw will do Honda use 3 different types on the same panel. The issue I have every time I take the panels off, is the multitude of fragile tabs that go in all directions like a jigsaw puzzle, obviously Mr Japanese clever little f**ker designer obviously never understood someone would have to take them off multiple times over the years, either that or his Dad owns the panel making company.
Yep .......I'm not looking forward to replacing my complete bodywork with my matte black kit that I've bought for trackdays! It arrives tomorrow after successfully getting through customs. Think I'll start with the tail/seat unit first and do the Sato racing hooks while I'm there. Then just stare blankly at the bike while I contemplate fairing and nose cone removal!

Phoned to book an MoT for Thurs or Fri this week because of good weather. Found out that no slots available to May 1!! Fortunately, I allowed myself ample time.
