Chilly but hopefully dry up here. Chance to get some practice in.

She’s almost back in road trim :), just waiting for road fairing friendly clipons.

Going to junk the TST integrated tail light, as the brake light is too temperamental, stock stuff works perfectly fine.

Anyone know of any rear indicators that look better than stock?

I've used the Oxford Eyeshot Nano on my last couple of bikes. Think they're great, hardly see them but bright when in use. Not the cheapest but really good. Here they are with an R&G Tail Tidy. Come with clear or smoked glass.

Yes mate, I bought it off the dude who bought it from Baron.

Put a cheeky bid in when it was on eBay and ended up winning it. Think the chap took quite a hit, I got it for half the price he paid Baron.

Picked up the original road kit for the bike and it just needed a rear subframe a few other bits and bobs and some wiring sorting out to get it on the road. Insuring it in track trim with daylight MoT was pretty pricey that’s why I put the road fairings back on and also I imagine I would get pulled over loads by the police with no lights.

Still got the track fairings but they’re not great, going to find something else that works with standard subframe for track days.

Came very close to getting squished by a tractor on the way back. Was not a happy bunny!

Woops, sorry @tuktuk. The like was for the pic, not the fact you were nearly 'squished by a tractor'.;)

Spent half the afternoon trying to remove my Yoshi end can (and all the S-bend link paraphernalia) so I can fit a Racefit exhaust.

Battled and battled and the system won't split from the OEM header collector pipe. Used the WD 40 etc - useless. It's been on there for a few years apparently, so seems to have 'welded' (condensation etc) itself together. I could take the whole system off, headers and all, but I just lost the plot and put it all back together. Sooo frustrated. Might change hobbies and start collecting stamps.

WD40 make a specific penetrative oil, it's got a lower surface tension and thus gets in all the nooks and crannies via the tiniest holes.
Works better than the original formula.

I've had 2 MoTs this week. Brought them forward just to be sure I won't be brought undone under the 20th May revised procedures.

Advisory on my 2011 Yoshi exhaust and the RR4 (at only 5,200 miles) flew through. My dealer, Blade Honda in Stratford, is now booked ahead 5 weeks. Thought it best to book in my 2018 for 1st service. I'll try hard to suffer 150 miles on it over the next few weeks!:)

Went for an early morning ride to the coast. Nice empty roads on the way, car park empty and no-one at the Cafe.

Blissful time sat in the sun watching the ships go by whilst having a cuppa and a bacon butty. Sometimes it's really nice having a billy no mates ride.

Also realised that the display that was trip position on the vlade is not that on the gsx-s, luckily I managed to find a garage open with my fuel warning flashing like a mad thing. Would have been extra embarrasing as the bike has a fuel guage. Doh!
