It's a slow process this......mainly due to time, but made a bit more progress today. Just the belly pan and nose cone/fairing to do now and after today should be an easy job to finish. Those flapper things inside the air ducts were a pain in the arse and there's so much shite fastened to the inside of the fairings!!! Anyway nearly there now. Can't wait to put some stickers on it! ;)

Glad it's coming together. With all the time you've spent on it you've saved about 500 miles:)

Prep my RRV for a MOT , had to whip out the neutral switch from the side of the engine and give it some tlc , the light wouldn't go out when it was in gear . It goes to show if you leave things standing for a long time little problems like this pop up .sorted now , ready to put back on the road (if it passes );)

Not necessarily so. I left an ex-wife standing for a long time - didn't present any problems to me!:)

Cheers Mark......standard exhaust with a heatproof arrow badge I've had lying around for years! You no what I'm like for a sticker!

There'll be no need for indicators where I'm going Mark!!! ;)

Just finished getting my track bike sorted
Got the paint codes also for the tt colours
For the white I just used Frozen white
Red is Honda Winning Red R258
Dark blue is Kawasaki metallic ocean blue 726
Light blue is Suzuki metallic triton blue YSF

The white on the original is a pearl paint not sure on this code but very similar to frozen white but a fraction of the cost

Nice, who did you get the race fairings from? does the rear seat unit slide over a standard rear subframe?

    Cheers

Yes the rear seat unit does fit with the original subframe, you do however need to grind off the bolt casting that hangs underneath that holds the two halves of the subframe together. I made a flat plate bracket to bridge across the rear of the subframe and riveted this on then cut off the bolt on the underside of the Oe subframe, when you take off the rear seat unit this will become quite obvious
Link below for fairings, speak to Richard first if you want this seat unit as you can’t buy it direct from his website, also don’t get mixed up with pro-fiber that are a foreign website
