Might be a different story tomorrow? I watched it on TV (BT Sport). A little bit ho-hum, but good to see Van der Mark in the mix. Also great to see Ana Carasco doing so well. Could be a great boost for the sport!
Was out at 0930. Great ride. Got back gave it a blitz back to clinical condition. Now having a beer watching the Monaco GP.
About time that race was removed from the F1 Calendar, the most boring race of the year usually, the way they qualify is the way they finish a lot of time but at least we got some great World Superbike at Donington on
Shame Donington WSB can’t attract the same crowds as a F1 GP. I blame that new format of a race Saturday then a race Sunday. I was spoilt in with the WSB golden era mid 90s and early 2000s.

Simon I don’t know what it is but since I went to the Monaco GP in 1997 (I was not interested one bit about F1 before that, I just went along with the lads to go on the piss). It is an amazing place and a brilliant weekend. To be honest it is the only F1 race I watch live these days. Miss the noise of the older F1 cars before they got all tree hugging etc.
Spent the day putting the bike back to road spec, mirrors, number plate, tail tidy etc after my track day, in preparation for the big ride out next Sunday with @Lozzy and crew! Also I've been avoiding temptation but it finally got the better of me........I rimmed two big hoops! After an hour of constant precise rimming, I'm happy to say the final result looks great! !
I think I'm gonna leave it off for the trip next week, not sure what the Rozzers are like in that neck of the woods so I think I'll go in complete stealth mode!
Great collection of bikes! I think what killed F1, SimonRR, was the decision to remove fuel stops, and thereby take away a major part of strategy, and, of course, the occasional human fireball.
No passport needed, might want to make sure you have had shots for tetanus, cholera, and ecky-thump though
Fitted new RSR MOTO carbon heel plates, left side easy, right side a little fiddly but took the opportunity to give everything a good clean and sprayed that plate that sits behind everything satin black.
