Did the exhaust mod. I'm keeping the standard exhaust as I think the after market ones are either offensively loud or don't look right. Plus I can't afford to change it anyway. I'm pleasantly surprised at the difference it makes. It has quite a nice time on idle..and took about 3minutes to do .
Took my new sp1 for a 100 mile loop .....love it....so light....pleased I have made the right choice ....those that say not much different from last model are talking smelly stuff....
Yeah, please explain, BB? It's that flapper thing half the guys disable with the servo controller? Step by step instructions will be fine.
That's the one. Just unclip the servo cable and the exhaust flap stays open. Far to many videos about it on you tube all ready.

I am sure I could move 2 Blades and the MV in the time it takes to move the VF1000R. At 224 kilos it is a beast - especially doing 28-point turns to manoeuvre it into place. On the positive side, it holds the road really well!
I wonder what the home insurance people would say to all this petrol powered machinery INSIDE the house ...lol. I reckon the premiums *might* increase somewhat.
Yes, I wondered about this very point after @Lozzy raised the chip pan fire issue. I am rifling through policies to check for exclusions. The logical person would ask: 'What's the difference of risk between a lounge room and a garage?' The insurance broker would sprout off 100 answers! What you'all don't realise is that my cat cushion is labelled 'highly inflammable'. The bikes carry no such warning.
