right, i remember doing that in my first car, but matching 30 in 3rd etc. Ill go with that and see how it feels, Im not far off doing that already, but probably 3rd at 30. I know im just over thinking stuff, it helps to ramble on about it
I rode nearly all the time when theirs a bit of traffic in 2nd I like the engine braking I can do 80/90mph in second maybe flick up to 3rd All depends on the rider there’s no real hard and fast rules, whatever you feel comfortable with
oh yeah, thats the other thing, the engine braking is immense! again, the BMW has virtually zero engine braking, unless it decides you need hill descent control. Its so easy to roll back for a corner and find im going really slow, then want to speed up at the start of the corner. I'm really enjoying all this new stuff, its been too long with everything being predictable in life.

Took mine in yesterday to have a quickshifter fitted so today I took my boys ktm450 exc out What a laugh It has a hole at the manifold and pops and bangs to much And that’s coming from an old VTR owner
