I thought that but with all the nice kit on the bike, assumed he would get it replaced with a new cover at some point
Yup it's a race/track bike, no point in painting something like that, as to me it will make no difference, but I will change it out at some stage, but right now it's down the list. Needed to change two bolts so got titanium ones, and while I was at it, I got a few more.... as you just got to love titanium!!
Dug out my HRC loom and gave it a cleanup ready for fitting and testing. It is ex TT so needed new electrical tape in places and a little TLC to get it spot on
Hey, there's a method to my madness!! I own 2 spaces at the front of my home. Ever since the next door neighbour started to use my second spot (I have only 1 car) I always straddle the spaces. That way it keeps him out, and gives me space for my bike cleaning projects. I am not the neighbour from hell. I used to mow all the lawns across the front. It was never ever reciprocated, leaving me to feel like the Bidford friggin' lawn fairy. One time I just did my own section, and the frighead since then has done only his, despite my still occasionally doing the whole lot.
Don’t blame you nigel You brought the spaces These days people think they can park where they like Rant over Carry on old boy
Went to Matlock, queued all the way through, so i passed everyone, rolled through with the traffic where the bikes were parked so i could nosey, and passed everyone right to the traffic lights sounds dead boring, but its a first for me
Installed cheapest track day fairings I could find 'finished' in unpainted white abs just to save the oem fairings in a crash and a lot happier than I thought I would be with the way it looked. Don't get me wrong, I like the OEM finish I had but considering that the fairing cost 250 quid including shipping and customs plus a few sticker I really like it. As it was... As it is now... Also installed some j20 brake hoses up front.
Bought a tyre paint pen, to paint the letters on the tyre wall. Painted the tiny little Dunlop "D" logo, on one side of the back tyre - and thought nah !
