~What a fantastic thought. I'm going pimp my toilet! https://www.amazon.co.uk/CORNAT-KSD...61&hvtargid=pla-613536197272&psc=1&th=1&psc=1
Nah.....wouldn't drill my fairings, they come supplied with some 3M double sided padded tape. should be easy enough to remove once the novelties worn off! It might not even be strong enough to hold them on depending on the angle I set them at, as I said though...….its just a bit of fun!
No not Puig, Just ones I found on ebay…...less than a tenner! they have a textured finish too them rather than a shiny smooth one. See what they look like on!
And they probably will. Can you imagine the pounds per square inch pressure on those things held on only by tape? I mean, Sir Elton John's rug has blown off under more favourable conditions!
It will depend what angle I set them at...... Sloping downwards towards the front would cause pressure and it could rip them off...... But if they a relatively flat they'll just cut through the air. Which I know isn't the point of wings but they're only for show remember...... Its not like I ride round with the front wheel in the air
Plan was an early ride to the coast for me and the missus to have breakfast as they weather was supposed to be ok. Sadly weather was sh1t with constant drizzle, the roads I chose were ripped up by workers, and it was fookin cold. In the end we made it as far as the Woods and decided to come home via Costa Coffee to try and warm up a bit. Of course Sod's Law was in effect and the sun was out before we got home, but by then it was too late as there wasn't enough tme left. Oh well maybe next time.
washed waxed ready for BHoliday .....weather looks good 12c 1st thing in mornings up and out before the family wagons and caravans even think about getting up.
Don't know if you were out today, Wozz, but bloody hell. I went out straight after the school run and wow! There must be more people not working than working today. I thought the caravans would commence late arvo, but here they were in Worcs, convoys at 40 mph uphill, battling it with the estates packed to the brim. I was all psyched up to exceed my well-documented 38-mile loop (corrected from the original 30) but lost the plot after my Costa latte and headed home.
I see your number plate fell off. Shame (Or is it one of those tucked away ones, hidden like a young boy's undescended testicle?)
Currently sat in sunny Mablethorpe. Traffic was pretty easy for a friday, especially on a Bank Holiday weekend, but then I don't have to do Motorways or dual carriageways to get to the coast. Question is how many stops at petrol stations will I have before I finally put the bike in the garage.
