True, but better and cheaper at Sea View cafe in Mablethorpe, which is also farther away and so more bike time. Not so many bike though but you do get to see the glares from the tourists as you park the bike for free
Pain in the ar$e dont even come close, total strip down just to get to the coils but its sooooo worth the swearing and time taken, the translogic has to be one of the best i have ever used, far superior to the heal tech i used to have, i love the way the higher up the revs the shift just gets better.
Fitted a powerbronze double bubble screen, was going to go for a smoked one but quite glad i waited for the clear one to come back in stock as i think it suits the bike better.
Agree with you. We are a rare breed us lovers of clear, OEM screens. I've swapped over three tinted screens on bikes I've recently bought solely to return to stock. I know this is an 'each to their own' trait, but I reckon they look much better too, with the one exception for black bikes.
Yep I agree with you, clear screen all the way........not necessarily oem but defo not black. Can't understand people who get a black screen.......they're for seeing through! !
Haha, plenty of swearing took place. I managed to only take one side of the fairing off on the LHS which is a job and a half in itself
I never took my side panels off at all and just managed to squeeze in to the 1st & 4th injectors by hand, but i did have the airbox and throttle bodies off at the time of doing it so that made it a bit easier to access everything, not had my side panels off yet and not really looking forward to that day tbh haha
Yeah but, no but.......dark helmet visors are almost completely transparent, so you can see through them .....black screens are almost completely opaque, so you can't see through them! That's the difference @Lozzy!! you don't see Rossi or Marquez with a chavvy black screen do you!!
You're right.....and you don't see them with an even chavvier Oxford bumbag strapped round their leathers By the way is Nigel curled up on a little cushion under your desk...pressing the agree button every time you throw him a treat
i must get a dark visor for mine, the sun is shocking in the morning now what sort of treat might that be
Here's mine... had to take the left fairing off and pull the air duct out level with the frame so I could unstick the bloody heatshield...and you can see here my bike is up against the wall so I had no chance of gettting the RHS fairing off...I had to use needlenose pliers to remove & re-install the coil plug over that side ...took bloody ages because it is so fiddly
i feel your pain mate, total pain in the a$$, dont be like me and leave the MAP sensor unplugged though and put it all back together only to then get an EML and have to take it all apart again just to plug the sensor in
Looking at that pics reminds me I’ve got pair valve blanking plates to do soon and domino quick action throttle! Not looking forward to stripping right back to do them
Hmmm...... I may have to get a new one now! Ps..... Which muppet was made to stand at the side of the road and take that pic??!! I can just see it now...... Eee up Lozzy duck, will thar stand theer tat side ot road while I go back up thar Road, turn thas bike around and then I'll come back past at 30 mph, will thar get a good shot of me ont Tes pee? (sp)
