Big Thanks to @LRJimmy who helped me fill my 2 holes ......looks much better than having awful advertising everywhere...
Hi @nigelrb Rear of number plate has been suitably covered in black vinyl. It does certainly look better. I also got a rad guard fitted too. Not much holding the thing on but I did use more substantial cable ties and not the ones R&G had supplied. As I know your keen eye for detail will notice I have yet to snip off the excess cable tie let me assure you it was snipped off after the photo was taken...(actually when I looked at the photo I saw it and though, shit I never cut off the ends )
Why does everyone moan about r&g advertising when no one says anything about Honda, akrapovic, dainese, alpinestar etc?
Well I can't speak for everyone but here's my own pennies-worth; I bought a Honda therefore if it has Honda on it all the better so I don't forget what I have I am getting on a bit after all Akra - I have one off exhaust and one label. R&G - I have Tail-tidy, Sliders, Frame / Boot guards, Radiator Guard so that comes in at 8 emblems if I fitted them all. As it stands I have an emblem on each Slider. I am not averse to having them but I don't want the entire bike littered with the same emblem everywhere.
It's not that's it's r&g per se, it's the lack of aesthetics on their stickers. And because they're everywhere your bike ends up looking a tacky mess... Although it might improve yours if you stuck several dozen over them pan lids
Ooooooo You hurt me Lozzy I wonder if they are r@g but they are to embarrassed to put their stickers on them
Agree fully with @LRJimmy & @Lozzy , PLUS, it's not necessarily the amount of R & G advertising/labelling, it's the damn over-prominence of it. The heel guards on one of Lozzy's pics is a clear example.
You're going to make @bazzashadow jealous at this rate! Take some fillin' them hole's let me tell you
Us lessers up Nort’ like a challenge but i’d never cut anyones feet Besides im miles away Although i am an expert filling holes, i even have my own cement mixer
It was dry earlier today so with a few layers of killa compression to keep the cold out i got a nice 70 mile round trip knocked out
Ahahahaha, my one is a yellow baby bell (not the cheese) B and Q we’re having a deal a couple of years back as i wouldn’t normally buy tools there but it has served me well. I travel a lot though hehehe
