exactly the same thing happened to me, been thinking it all morning.

went for a ride this morning, found that a zip hoody over my leathers really makes it warmer, so even in this weather, its great fun

Put a dehumidifier in my new (wet) garage in an attempt to dry out the blocks so I could do more painting inside and out. was pulling something like 15L plus per day from it and dried out the blocks a treat. Not an issue now the gutters are affixed. Put a go faster stripe around there too. :D One more wall left to paint now and I can get the bike inside.

Moved the trailer for the second pic.

One thing I did purchase for the new mancave was a Råskog trolley from Ikea for my polishes / lubes etc.

Did you hire one or purchase? 15L a day is a lot!

It was an industrial 16amp one from a tool hire place. £60+ vat for the week. It was meant to run from a 13amp socket but kept tripping it. I have access to a blue 16a plug so used that.

15L is a lot. Garage is bone dry now. Managed anotger good coat of weatherproof Sandtex on the outside too. Wrapped a large dust sheet around the garage to allow a steady stream of air to dry the paint and in the event of it raining. It was like a bloody balloon! :D

    Sorted it though.

Have the same in my garage for valeting equipment. Works a charm and you can wheel it around, not the cheapest solution but does hold up against the work :)

Always sad to see a bike being stripped. I hope it works out for you financially. Fortunately, there will be good demand for most of your goodies!

To be honest @nigelrb its done it’s job and now I’ve looked at it properly it’s a bit of a state.
I’m keeping all the upgrades to go on the next one when I can ride again.
