Didn't watch a video or download evotechs pdf fitting guide, smug twat aren't I …. Stripping down easy enough, changing indicators, wire looms plug in all working. This is where is goes wrong, in my mind fit in reverse of how you strip down...Fitted tail tidy to bike still all working. Next undertray !!!!! the fecka wouldn't go between the tail tidy and the rear frame. so undone the remove 2 rear bolts on the tail tidy so it can drop down carefully maneuverer in the undertray, may pay to protect bottom panel with masking tape cos it is tight.... Once it all in position you try to put the rear 2 tail tidy bolt back in place C****TT Started 21.00 went to bed when finish at 03.00
I hate those kind of jobs...just be an hour and 5 hours later you are threatening whatever it is with a sledgehammer
Did you check the fitment on the 2020 bike? @nigelrb That would be a real bummer if existing tidy’s wont fit....
Ah, they definitely won't fit. I'll have to wait for R & G and others to get their act together. They'll probably get a 'press' or promo bike to measure up. Daytona will be fine cos that transplant straight from the Speed Triples.
Yep agreed @Lozzy........considering you've never attached the pillion pegs or used them to strap the bike down in transit............ They're looking in top notch condition
My mind is somewhat tired, but bearing in mind I live about 300 miles from you, with yourself only being able to do 30 miles a day you'll be leaving on April 1st, which is somewhat appropriate
My racefit got delivered!!! Haven’t unboxed it properly yet but it’s a nice touch that they include earplugs with it
Hoping for some dry roads (according to West Mids forecasts) on Saturday or Sunday. Haven't had a bike out for the whole of November, save to take the RR4 to the dealer. November last year I spent £54.00 on fuel for bikes. This year, zilch.
Thought I was going to get out...heated gloves at the ready...and along comes the gritters and sandblasted me!!! Luckily I was in the car
No parts fitted today, no work on the Zephyr either (tank is now cleaned out on that though so ready for a service). Instead, I continued with machining of the rearset project I have on for some classic Yamaha’s. Both brake and gear arms completed. Shit picture but you’ll get the idea; also, SHINY
